Installed 18 April 2026. A Yeppoon medical practice wanted a drinking fountain in their waiting area so patients and staff could help themselves to cold water without needing cups at reception.

We installed an Aqua Cooler floor-standing unit with bottle filler and bubbler — a hygienic option that lets patients refill a water bottle without touching the unit, and gives staff a quick drink during a busy shift.

New cold water line from the existing supply, isolation valve, waste connected to the nearest floor waste with an approved tundish arrangement, commissioned once the electrician had powered it up. Start to finish: under a day on site.

Queensland Compliance Notes

• All plumbing work in Queensland must be done by a QBCC-licensed plumber. LTH Plumbing is licensed (QBCC 1300686). A handyman installing a drink fountain is an insurance and legal problem waiting to happen.
• Backflow prevention is mandatory for commercial drinking water connections under AS/NZS 3500.1. This protects your mains supply from contamination and is checked during any compliance audit.
• Form 4 compliance certificates are not optional. Your building insurer, your facility records, and any future sale of the business will ask for them. We issue one for every job.
• Drainage must be vented and trapped. A drink fountain plumbed straight into a waste without a trap will eventually cause odours — and fails inspection.
